General question: Whenever I see ::foo() in the auto.c object,
that must be invoking a kfun, yes?

Specific question: Is open_port() a kfun? It seems that it
must be, since it is invoked as ::open_port in the kernel
lib, but it's not listed in the kfun docs in the 1.2 version
of the driver package. There appear to be a few more similar
cases of kfuns, mostly dealing with ports and the port.c and
udp.c objects in the kernel lib.
