[DGD]Another newbie question

I am sure this has been covered before, but....

Why hasn't anyone ever released or ported a mudlib for DGD?  Is it 
difficult to port a mudlib (like say tmi-2) to dgd?  Is it significantly 
more difficult to write a mudlib for dgd?  Are there significant problems 
with porting a lid from say mudos to dgd?

If this is addressed on a web page somewhere please point me in the right 
direction and I'll study up.
