[DGD]DGD patches

I started using DGD about a week ago and noticed through some of my reading that I need certain patches.  the Windows patch and ANSI patches to be precise.

Looking at the ftp site I could not find either one.  but further inspection of the documentation I did find on it suggests I will have to compile the code for the patches to take effect.

Where can I obtain the code and respective patches and will it compile on microsoft VC++6.0?

Or will the patches take effect on the Server if i place things in the proper place?  I am running the current version of the windows driver available at imaginary.
