The difference between fish in a fish store and advice on this list is the
cost I guess. (not that the advice here stinks, of course) Myself, I
always steal both fish and advice.
Speaking of that I'd like to thank Felix for the pointer to the extensions
document. I'm not sure extensions is useful for what I would like to do
(I'm interested in e.g. replicating objects between two DGD instances) but
I realize I have some reading to do. Bart commented that modifying the
driver should be the furthest thing on anyone's mind unless s/he has a
very good grasp of how the driver works and I agree, that's why I was
asking for some good documentation. While the sourcecode is the ultimate,
definitive documentation for any software, I'm not sure I agree it's the
most effective way to learn about said software. There is a reason code is
called "code"...
I'm going to run the code through doxygen and see what happens. That will
give me some flowcharts and stuff that might be useful. If anyone's
interested I'll post a link to them on the list later.
Cheers,
/Ragnar
