Ok.

Sorry for the confusion, but the "connection manager bypass" thingy
the kernel did was unexpected and I didn't find any mention of this
behavior in the docs so it surprised me.  In My Humble Opinion a note
of this little oddity might be helpful in the hook doc for UserD.
