Even without a time server, a system clock will of course change
"periodically". When synchronized to a time server, every effort
will be made to get the clock right for even the smallest increment,
rather than merely adjusting the clock every once in a while.

Don't worry, it is impossible to spam me. Anything resembling an
errormessage for this list is sent to /dev/null. And the list will
indeed refuse anything but plain text messages.
