Some web-based communities allow the user to import his contacts from e.g.
Gmail and e-mail them invitations to the community. If this is what happened
in this case, the user probably did not look through the list of contacts to
see what was a real person and what was the DGD mailing list. I would not be
surprised if we see more e-mails like this on the mailing list in the
future.
