You look up desperately at the overcast sky and the skudding dark
clouds. The swirling chill fog doesn't help either. You look for a
tree or mossy boulder. There are none -- this is a blasted magically
dead desert remember? You climb to the top of the nearest sand dune
and try and remember what your old school teacher Mrs DroneAlot used
to say about the prevailing autumn wind direction in this part of the
world. You shrug, grimace, guess that it tends to blow from the east,
and begin walking along the crest of the dune...
