Well, heck, this discussion is free. (Unless you tack on what
everyone pays to use their phones, electricty to power their
computers, net access and all that. But, I'm willing to bet,
that most would consider this discussion free, and not a $1000
meeting to fix a $100 problem.)
That said, I'll post my lil blurb on the matter. I use a free
email account. (Geocities) I don't make any money, nor am I
associated with geocities in any way, save the fact that I am
using a free email account through them. That said, currently,
they are not plunking in a bunch of crap onto the end of my
email messages. So, currently, I can suggest everyone who needs
a free email account, go over to:
URL:http://www.geocities.com
and sign up for some free web space, and a free email account.
Not only is it not web based email, it is a pop mail account,
which we can all argee (or most of us) is much better than a
access-through-web-pages type. (Heh, I wasn't sneaking in with
a free account or anything ;) it just happens that is how I
get my email.) At any rate, it's not an intentional plug for
said site, but it is free, and at least for now, they're not
putting a bunch of crap into your messages. (If they do, I'll
be finding another, because it annoys the hell out of me when
they do that... sure, they're hosting it, but I still find it
to be a bother.)
