I admit that I've never worked with a load more than 20 simultaneous
connections, and therefore haven't run into that limitation, but I'm
just trying to keep the strict separation between different abstraction
layers and if (when :-) I hit it, I'll just shift the accents.
Right now I'm working on a project which is supposed to have the number
of concurrent users close to that you mentioned, so in a couple of
months I'll be able to put down a detailed report on that subject :-)
