Which would be a perfect complement of an alignment system, for those
who cares. The artificial requirements for a paladin to be good and
lawful, for example, fit into this, as well as continue into the trial
system discussed a couple of months ago. 

Would 'claim' be the better term?

Also, cases of a stolen possession ('I claim you stole this sword from
me'), which is followed by the vendetta or a bounty.

Side note: make it external and pluggable, it may consume all the
processor power :-)
