New features include Vehicles that actually work, all the OLC to
go with them, and a bunch of mostly minor changes. Cleaned up the
(incredibly ugly) log-on and log-off handling code.
Hegemon got a little more tightly integrated to the ScryMUD
server, hopefully making it more user-friendly. I also have
Hegemon set up to run as a java-plugin (as well as applet and
application) so it should reach the maximun number of happy
customers now!
Full source (minus most of the world files for ScryMUD) can
be found on my web page, for both projects. The build process
for ScryMUD is a little better now (I think!). (Linux,
Solaris, BSD seems to work with little or no changes, I'm sure
it won't work on NT or win95 without some serious help.)
If any of you try it out, please let me know how you like it,
or any problems you ran into.
See my web-page (.sig), find the Downloads link for the software.
Thanks for the bandwidth,
Ben
PS: ScryMUD is accepting builders, contact me for more information,
or stop by the MUD and check it out for yourself (Try Hegemon!!).
