Yes, and it works great on the server side. Forgive me for sliding
offtopic, but server-side Java works much better that client-side Java,
mostly (I think) because its improvement wasn't constrained by the
browser compatibility.
Getting back on-topic: has anyone tried to use CORBA and persistence
engines using it? Namely Voyager (http://www.objectspace.com)?
