Well, I haven't ditched any of my design lately nor have I ditched any
code. If anything I keep adding to my todo list, things I'll likely
never get around to programming. I've been plodding slowly along like a
mud turtle. I have simply have too many concurrent programming projects
going on. (no pun intended) Some of which are wholly unrelated to mud-
like things.

TychoMUD is basically working right now and stable. I'm a bit shy of
releasing any code until I reach some sort of zen-like state of oneness.
I've also completed TychoMUD's first test "mudlib", Colossal Caves <wink>
as well as progress on the kernels of two real "mudlib" systems. I'm
loathe to release the server until I have the user documentation
reasonably complete.

However in any event, at some point in the very near future I will be
releasing a number of distantly related code bits which include a number
of server ports and clients, database code, class libraries, long-
promised Dev-MUD modules, and finally TychoMUD's first release.

But that's not important right now. I'm currently out of work and
looking forward to my next contract. <kof> I'm seriously considering
switching career paths to something more relaxing and personally
satisfying like septic tank cleaning or chimney sweeping. Problem is
they don't pay as well. <sigh>
