Just to clarify, I do not urge that anyone be forced or obliged to dump
their use of restricted codebases. Some have valid reasons, mostly
(but by no means only) related to how much time they've already invested.
I just think that, on the whole, the community would gain from a
substantial swerve towards these unrestricted code bases. When
I've got it all written out, if some remain interested, I'll post the reasons
I've come up with.
