You can't copyright ideas, sometimes you can patent them though. :) You get
copyright on all works you produce, whether you want it or not.  Sentences
and such does not qualify as works, so using some phrases that DIKU use is
not a violation.  You might have a case anyway, maybe enough to get a
settlement that pays off? :) If they have copied the "form" you have given
the idea that DIKU builds on then you have a case...
