I'm with ya! And I think a real problem with being in the gaming industry is
that we interact with too many who ARE that competent. There's also a peer
pressure factor--it's difficult to be in the game industry and admit to that
level of incompetence. :)

Well, they are both still fruit, in that excessive difficulty, as Ryan
points out, will still chase away users of both types of games. :)
