Possible, sometimes, in some areas.  But given that the object of the
game is to kill stuff without being killed, even in the areas where it
is possible, it's not a very smart way to play.

You could say there are a number of reasons why camping is the best
way to play EQ, but ultimately the one reason why people camp in EQ is
because that is the best way to play ("best" in the sense that you
will be more successful in accomplishing your goals).

I really object to assertions that the players are lazy, stupid and
cowardly and that's why they camp.  They camp because they are gamers,
and they are smart enough to figure out the best way to play.

I do see that as a black and white issue: If you design a game in
which the best way to play is to camp, then that isn't the players
fault.
