I still don't really understand why you would bother. You would put people
in an area where they cannot play the game (jail), versus banning them,
which just amounts to putting them in a much larger area where they still
can't play the game (the world).
Unless attempting to reform problem players (slap quotation-marks around
any of the previous words, as the spirit moves you) is just something you
personally quite enjoy, why keep them around on your MUD anywhere?
I guess what I'm trying to ask is, What's your objective?
