Would love to see something like this myself. There's a couple of
PocketPC games out there already which are space-tradey but you kind
of get the feeling they are more testing the technology by the
designers.
In particular almost no PocketPC game has exploited the fact that
the people with PPCs also have internet access and regularly sync
their devices (ok, Rocket Elite does with scoring, fantastic game
btw).
In my dreamy little world there would be a great little PocketPC
elite style game where I could communicate and interact with other
users via syncing my PocketPC. Perhaps I could trade with them or
pass intel or news on what is going on in other places (solar flare
= huge demand for sunglasses on Planet X). Teaming up with them
would also be important, although handling non-synced players could
be funny. Maybe big world changes happen weekly.
Anyway, it would be great to have the complex gameplay of an
elite-style game (which doesn't require top graphics) and combine
that with some kind of multiplayer angle.
