[MUD-Dev] [TECH] MySQL for mud databases

I'm looking into MUD database storage mechanisms, and the two that
kind of standout right now are: robust database package and
proprietary database package.  The former is, ostensibly, going to
be much nicer than the latter, which is presumably a comma
delimited, line oriented ASCII file =)

So I was wondering if anyone has used MySQL for their MUD work and,
if so, how they liked it.
