It's an article about Kapooki Games' upcoming graphical MUD,
"Loregaine: The Black Standard."
The quote that made me throw up at the ignorance was:
---
"Adventure games have always been popular on the Internet, but their
value proposition for companies in the past was always quite low
because they were purely text," said Michael Griffin, the company's
27-year-old CEO. "Now, for the first time, the images are rich enough
that people are actually willing to pay money to play."
---
Riiigghhhhttt. It's always good to see people trying to build a
next-generation product while having apparently no understanding of
what they are building on.
