True, but Redhat isn't a development company and as I understood the
original question it was about the viability to develop _and_ sell
such a product (?).
If you did, in fact, develop a high-quality mud-suite I beleive that
it would follow the Linux path. A few strong companies with lots of
money to spend on advertising and trademark building would take most
of the market and the possibility for the developer to live on it
would be small.

That could be a good solution.
