Oooh, no. I'd have to disagree with that. There is no PvP, no
competitiveness, unless it emerges from the social part of the
game. The PvP in Achaea is so intense and addictive *because* the
social rewards are so great, whether it be proving oneself as the
greatest warrior, or demonstrating leadership and perspicacity as a
politician, or even persuading Matt to let you ascend to a divine
role (the ultimate in social success). If there was a social reward
to looking great in Achaea, then I'm sure people would regularly pay
real money for distinctive virtual clothes.
