Crappy journalism at its finest.
"In the future, all of Destination Games' releases will be online games=
only, no more single-player products."
-which implies that there were single-player products that they released.
"Garriott left Origin Systems, the game he and Robert formed back in 1983,=
earlier this year, in an attempt to find a new challenge."
-Origin Systems is a company, not a game.
""In Ultima Online fiction, Lord British has already left Britannia (the=
fictional land he ruled in Garriott's games), so this is a great=
opportunity for him to go and visit new worlds," he joked."
-He made a statement, not a joke. It was a statement that Lord British=
would continue to exist in the future. He explained that in the UO2=
fiction that already exists, Lord British's exit from the world was=
mentioned and that he would be leaving Britannia for other worlds. The=
Lineage artists are already working on artwork to add Lord British to=
Lineage, and so its a natural segue for LB to go from Britannia to the=
world of Lineage.
"The Lineage client will be available in a few weeks from Destination=
Games, which will also provide support for U.S. players."
-The Lineage client has been available since May 1, 2001. The=
'Americanized' version won't be available until sometime in the second=
half of 2001, so I'm not sure which client the writer is referring to.
-Additionally, Starr Long's name was misspelled.
