Sure they do.  You are arguing against a straw man here.

I said I feel such in-game memorials are improper because people
login to the game to (in part) get away from "real life" and escape
into a fantasy world.

You cannot use examples from real life as a counter to my statement
that people login to enjoy a temporary respite from real life.

If I said people like to go to the beach to relax, and you said "no
they don't, there is no beach in the middle of Wall Street", that
really wouldn't make much sense.
