This really shows where the 'achiever' mindset and the 'socialiser'
mindset fail to meet :)

Why pay 15 dollars per month when you can play counterstrike for
free? Or go to any of the free ultima servers? The point that often
is missed is that for players chosing to specialise in entertainer
on SW:G the advancement is not really important, it just means that
more tricks become available, but for the most part their fun is in
roleplaying with and entertaining other players. The game mandates
a certain amount of downtime to heal various wounds, and the theme
mandates that they spend some of that time in seedy bars and other
similar places. The entertainers, while mandated by the theme, make
sure that the downtime is minimised for those who want to go out to
destroy some more pixels as quickly as possible, while the rest can
have a marginally good time chatting with somebody who is there for
that purpose. It is not chatting but roleplaying (and that also ex-
plains why the entertainers are so incensed about the macro singers
or dancers who get in the way, spam everybody and are seen as not
to entertain the guests)
