That's true, but when you have game mechanics designed for teams of
4-8 players then certain types of gameplay becomes more viable over
time than others and variety suffers. That means: XP XP XP uber-loot
XP XP...
Design-guideline: provide opportunities for teaming up tied to
personality and activity types and avoid designs which force players
to first team then decide what to do.
