What im reading :
 
1) Social motivation are still second to achievement motivation ;
2) As you said, the Daedalus project does not include non-player. The
non-players *could* be socializers, yes, they *could* also be soloers
frustrated about the state of current MMORPGs. Basically, it is up to
everyone guesses.
 
Can we agree there is a place in MMORPG for both the soloer and the
socializer playstyle ?
 
Can we also agree (this is where it will get tricky) that the soloer has
pretty much been relegated to second rank citizenship in the current
raid/forced grouping-centric design of most actual MMORPGs ?
