Indeed.  Recent ones I've heard are "pone" for "pwn", "rawfle" for
"rofl", and "see-see" as you also observed.  The other I've
consistently seen, even back when I was involved with LPmud is the
verbalizing of one-word emotes to characterize your feelings in Real
Life (TM).  For instance, saying "sigh" or "laugh".
