As I was reading this, I was thinking that this interview (or at least the 
info) may go down in history as part of the syllabus for "What not to do 
when creating a $30M MMORPG" (or any piece of software). It might make a 
good GDC/Austin talk too.

Of course, an experienced MMORPG developer like Brad would never bother 
hiring an outside consultant (like Jessica Mulligan, Richard Bartle, Brian 
Psychochild Green, etc.), but in my mind's eye, I can easily imagine the 
sense of disbelief that a hypothetical consultant would experience upon 
hearing/seeing some of this.

In some ways it's ironic (if it's true): It's a text-book case of "what NOT 
to do" (release early, buggy, etc.) by an experienced development team with 
heaps of money.
