This kind of failure could ONLY be done by an experienced team with heaps
of money. Experience in one area does not translate into experience in
another, but it makes you think it does (experience is SEVERELY overrated
in the game industry), and without that kind of cash, many of the worst
problems would've been found sooner and corrected rather than compounding
for far longer than they had any right to.

The lesson here: don't make MMORPGs if you are an experienced development
team with heaps of money.
