A friend from an old (90s!) Mud project I was involved in pointed me at
this a couple of days ago - I've filled in the registration stuff, and
I'm waiting to see if I get the chance to play with it :)
Although as usual, time is at a premium, it'd be quite cool to have a
look and see what they've come up with so far.
The first thing which actually comes to mind (probably because I've been
re-reading my Feist collection recently) is the whole
Riftwar/Hall-of-Worlds theme, where a mysterious place full of doors or
portals connects all the different worlds - different points in space
and time. I suppose this is also along the lines of D&D's Sigil - the
city of the planes, where oft-disguised gates connect different worlds
and dimensions.
I've no idea what I would build, though. I'm trying to think of
something at present!
