World of Warcraft has a bit of this, since they introduced console-style
achievements with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

Take a character, and you can see what he's done (I picked the guy below
at random from a web forum)

A number of outside sites have popped, trying to make sense about those.
There's a number of sites (wowprogress.com, etc) that now use these to
rank guilds: the highest achievements, done the earliest.

There was also a site that attempted to rank individual players, using
a smart combination of achievements. Basically, achievement were worth
the % of people who didn't complete them (an achievement done by 1% of
the people would be worth 0.99, an achievement done by 90% of them
would be 0.1). Alas, the site went down rather quickly; with a game
like World of Warcraft, a lot of people underestimate the sheer amount
of data you need to massage to extract meaningful information (10
million accounts, X number of characters per account).

EvE still doesn't have an official killboard system. A shame, it should
be "relatively" easy to implement, since they have one in-game (you can
check 'wheather maps' showing how many ships have been destroyed recently,
system by system).
