Just to avoid confusion, I didn't mean you don't want to use Melville.
I've got nothing against it... I just meant that 2.4.5 is a bit archaic,
and not a good place to start for new designs.  Melville is a fine place to
start a MUD from (and I'm not just saying that because its author is
reading :-)
