[DGD] Cancelling input_to()

Hi, i have a little problem
I put an opening animation for my mud, and i set an input_to()
to cancel the animation and don't wait until it finished to enter the 
mud
if i write "q" the animation stops, but if i wait to the animation end, 
it
stills waits that "q", finishing the animation i have a menu, so i can't
use the menu until i write "q", is there a way to cancel the input_to()
of the animation??
