I was wondering this as well. If a mud was run free of
charge with a link provided for purley optional
donations, would this be allowed? Or would a
commercial license be required in this case?

It would be great if "free" muds could take some
form of donation in order to cover running costs and
maybe allow additional time to work on new features.
Even if this meant a royalty payment of x% of each
donation.

Who knows one of these muds could take off and
then be worth paying for a full commercial license :)
(Although I doubt that would happen, you can never
tell :)

Anyone know if this is feasible? Or allowed?
