[DGD] blocking the telnet port

I believe you can just take the line:

telnet_port     = 6047;                 /* telnet port number */
 
out of the mud.dgd config file. then there is no telnet port. another option if that doesn't work, is to just copy binary.c to telnet.c then the object cloned on the telnet port will be the binary object. 
Might be other routes, those are the ones that come to mind.
