I had attempted several starts on summarizing this difficult pile of 
messages.  All were short-circuited for one reason or another.  The 
broken chain of messages seems to evolve into complete, partial and 
multiple solutions through interaction, which does not lend itself 
to easy summarization.  Instead of I've chosen to concentrate on my 
own solutions and reference these messages for their "scenario 
problem" value.  Eventually, one way or another a full document will 
find it's way onto my web pages and, of course, into the list.
