[MUD-Dev] META: Web posting from list archives

Writing as list owner:

An idea that recently struck me anew is making MUD-Dev postable
from the web, specifically from the web archives. The problem is of
course authentication; authenticating browsers as MUD-Dev members
would rather defeat the purpose, and not authenticating would open
the list to noise. Ergo, the idea that web-postings would be
moderated in classic list fashion (ie the list moderator would elect
what posts to let onto the list) by someone OTHER than yours truly.

Initially moderation would be by standard email means (you resend
the message with a special header line containing the password),
with a web interface a little further down the pike (publicly
accessable list of messages awaiting moderator approval, publicly
accessable list of messages disapproved by moderators with
form-letter comments on why, simple web password authentication for
moderators and then Approve/Disapprove buttons by each waiting
message).
