Writing a mudlib is a major undertaking... It takes a long time to get
anything playable. For example, it was about a year from when I
started writing Discworld till we had something playable. That said,
this is the right place to get information,
look in the archives, look at the library on the kanga.nu web site, look
at Imaginary Realities http://imaginaryrealities.imaginary.com... There
is a lot of information out there.

As for driver that is a very subjective choice. Look at them all and
decide which one you like.

Good luck!
David.
