I -very- much agree. You just don't see much programming like that
in MUDs.  I guess it requires more programming and fiddling around
for devs who are already overworked and stressed.

I like the idea myself as it means that I could 'play' the game even
when I'm not at home. To sit at my PC for 3 or 4 hours is demanding
and hard to arrange. 10 minutes on the web managing my store is
great and I've 'achieved' something within the premise of the game.
