Actually I thought the requirement was for 13 and under unless you
have or plan to have adult content material.  At my former place I was
able to get registration removed from all places and just keep the 13
and under part in the EULA -- not a great solution but one that works
more often than not.  I can tell you that unless there is a compelling
business reason, registrations drives business away.

As for asking confirmation information, I don't believe that asking
for email address is sufficient to verify that the age requirement has
been met.  Since you already have an EULA and most people believe it
is a legal document you could use that.  But the funny part about
EULA, is that is it not binding on a minor anyway.  I have a piece of
the consent law that I will post to the Ebay thread, so I won't repeat
it here.
