The connection to the rest of the Net seems to be at the
tin-cans-and-string stage, as well, which means nasty bottlenecks for
reaching the US or Europe.  Used to chat with some Brazilian Tribes
players who said they had to play at 3AM and hope that one of the two
routes between them and the US didn't go down, if they wanted to play
on US servers.
