I agree, this is great. Your children are going to be drifting in and
out of virtual world 24x7 and wonder what all the fuss was about in
the ancient days of pre-2005 when people made a distinction between
real and virtual worlds.
I had envisioned a virtual object business, but I really hadn't
thought about related services. I mean, I could see someone getting
paid for modeling a pool table and the equipment, but not about the
idea that someone could get paid for teaching someone to be a better
virtual pool player. Then I suppose the student gets some of that
money back by being a virtual pool hustler.
About a hundred years ago I read about a telephone service that was
being offered in one of the Southern states. A person could call and
have a sympathetic ear. No where did I make a connection between that
simple idea and all the "Call me, call me now" numbers that have
sprung up since. At the time, such an idea was an oddity. Today, it
is one of many telephone services available.
