The author is an autism expert, so it's not surprising it's
autism-related. He has a tendency to see autism everywhere: in a
recent press release, he put forward the hypothesis that both
Einstein and Newton had Asperger's Syndrome. This was roundly mocked
by historians and other Asperger's Syndrome researchers, who pointed
out that although Einstein and Newton exhibited some Asperger's
Syndrome indicators, they also exhibited some very powerful
counter-indicators - powerful to the extent that people who have
Asperger's Syndrome don't, by definition, ever exhibit them.

Still, I'm sure there are members of the British public who, having
read the early articles, are now wandering around with the thought
in their heads that Einstein and Newton didn't like asparagus.
